Anthro Group of Companies was founded by Syed Qaiser Abbas Zaidi (late) in 1989 with the vision of introducing quality healthcare products to the market of Pakistan and since has been involved in the business of sales, promotion & distribution as well as import and marketing of various nutritional and pharmaceutical products. Moving forward in 2013 the company further engaged itself in importation, marketing & distribution of surgical disposables in the Pakistan market, becoming sole distributors of M/s. ShengGuang Medical Instrument Co. Ltd. China.

The vision of the company’s management later focused on the API’s (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) market of Pakistan & abroad, commonly known as the ‘Raw Material’ for manufacturing medicines and allied pharmaceutical products. It was this vision and will and by the grace of Almighty Allah that now the company has successfully set up 2 manufacturing units situated in Rawat Industrial Estate, Islamabad.

I, Syed M. Abbas Zaidi, as the CEO of a fast-growing, international, basic pharmaceutical company, it is my responsibility to continuously build and form a company that is competitive, resilient and innovative, allowing us to successfully navigate in a complex and constantly changing environment.  

In order to achieve this, we rely on being able to attract, develop and also retain dedicated and highly skilled talents, who work passionately together. We are doing this by offering our employees a climate of responsibility, accountability and respect where every employee has the opportunity to excel and develop to their full potential.

One of my main duties as CEO is to foster a climate of entrepreneurship; a climate in which employees can reach extraordinary goals by identifying themselves with ANTHRO’s vision. Together with our Top Management, we develop strategies and communicate these to our employees so that everyone understands the long-term goals of ANTHRO.

With over 500 dedicated and committed employees, I am confident that we will be able to reach our goals step by step and exceed the expectations of our stakeholders because… whatever we do… we do it with passion!
